ProsManagement on projects is so disorganized and they are not able to figure out what workloads to be put onto developers, so the general WLB is ... meh I guess?
Cons1. Terrible projects management, managers are meddling and micromanaging everything but taking up no responsibilities, will get to that in a minute 2. Mangers have no commitment to what they have said, always act on impulses and last minute change on user requirements is just common practice 3. Developers are second class citizens in this company, managers favorite things are meetings and meetings and then ask you to “multitask”. Mangers will call in whenever they want to and have no regards to your trains of thought 4. When you pointed out all of what I have stated, they will say “I know” and then do not change a thing 5. Developers are constantly asked to deliver things “as soon as possible” when PMs have not even figured out a plan 6. Now you can see even when the general workload is not that heavy, it can be mentally stressful to work here
