One prob: WFH option sometimes, depending on the role. This was a great perk pre-pandemic and helped put blinders to help ignore the rest of the company’s multiple issues.
So many cons: -Old-timers that have been in the same senior management roles for the last 10+ years. Not much room left to grow for low or mid-management employees. -Very, very little lack of diversity. -Lots of favouritism. -Barely any annual salary increase in the last 3 years. -Push employees to say yes to everything to their clients want instead of setting expectations. They let clients squeeze the lemon to the very last drop until there’s nothing left. Clients barely work while the service provider employees are essentially slaves. -So cheap when it comes to giving anything to the employees as little perks… we received a $30 movie theatre gift card at Christmas 2021 during the pandemic when most provinces had closed movie theatres. (They let us exchange it for a grocery store card but made it complicated for us to do so.) This is supposedly a global company, so not sure how they can only budget $30 gifts/employee/year. -Empty promotion promises. -Always insist on sharing stupid safety stories at the beginning of town halls and meetings that don’t have any added value. -Make us pay more for benefits on our pay but offer less.
