“If you're looking for a place to not grow professionally and get a paycheck, work here!”
ProsSolid benefits and time off
Good hours
Fridays off in June-August
Work is extremely easy
Impossible to be fired
Fun coworkers
ConsZero communication in departments
Extreme politics in the Director/Board level
Resistant to change
Directors push back on improvements on current processes
No oversight from managers
Low pay and no raises
Unable to negotiate raises (raises salary 4% max for inflation)
No career opportunities (no one leaves the company)
Reasons for ResignationManager doesn't listen to staff needs. Ignores all constructive criticism. Outside departments demand more projects from us while we are severely understaffed and won't allow us to hire.
Salary extremely low and no raises. No performance reviews or manager reviews that would result in positive change.
No career opportunities-people who work here are content in doing the same thing without challenging themselves. Only employees that have grit are new experienced hires and they burn out quickly. Typical 80/20 rule.
Coworkers are great but sadly everything else is quite bleak.
