- Confused between two offers Hi all, First blind post. I have an offer from Cerner Corporation in Kansas City, Missouri and from The Options Clearing Corporation in Chicago, IL. The offer is for a new grad software engineer. Cerner's base salary is about $8k higher than OCC's offer adjusted for cost of living (all calculators
- Oracle pay for engineers, TPMs, eng managers Cerner associates want to know if their benefits will be better as Oracle associates. 1. Is there flex PTO (unlimited)? 2. Is there sabbatical? 3. How is 401k match? 4. How is base pay and equity? 5. How is health care premium?
- vote Stay @Epic or move to another company I work at Epic systems - leading healthcare software company. Pay is good but not on par with FANG. Cerner is bought at $95 per share by Oracle. Epic being leading healthcare company and doing better than Cerner, it could be valued more than that. Epic is a private company and they don’t want to go

- Why oracle stock is down ? Oracle crushed earnings and stock was up by 10% touching 105 range. Later when broader market is doing well (apple/fang , avgo, cisco, intel), why oracle is down ? Broader market as of this month cares about profitable companies with good fundamentals and oracle fits well in it. I felt cloud (oci/s
- Why did Feinberg leave Google Health? I just now saw his tweet from yesterday in my TL. Was he doing well? (Cerner seems like a major step back.) I'm interviewing for ML roles at G with a healthcare focus but if the org's in shambles that's something I need to keep in mind. Are they moving some of the health stuff back to Deepmind sinc
- Interviewing on company time. Do y'all interview on company time too? Or am I the only bad guy. I attended 2 interviews on company time and I kinda feel a little guilty. TC: 🥜 (lookup software engineer at Cerner on levels.fyi, sympathy/BTC donations accepted.) YOE: 4
- Time to move on before firing? who does it ? For people not performing well, One good thing at Cerner is they put you under a performance review plan which lasts for about a month before you are actually fired. I like this method a lot since it gives you time to move on. Am curious about policies at other places

- Why is IT paid so much less? Yes, many of us might not be as qualified, and yes, many of us live in areas with low cost of living, but it still feels like the difference in pay between bay area tech companies and IT companies elsewhere is so extreme. Anyone else agree? (IT Engineers at Cerner make between 50 and 150 k for the m

- Low cost of Living & Low Pay vs High Cost of Living & High Pay So...I usually don't think about companies outside of the Seattle area, but cost of living seems to be increasing here and I'm starting to open up to the idea of moving to the middle of nowhere lol and earn less but also pay less. I know Cerner is in the midwest. What other companies are low pay but
