DoorDash is a career-defining place to work, and we’re proud to have been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 by Newsweek. The list was built following a large-scale independent survey with more than 389,000 completed reviews by employees who work for companies throughout the U.S.
DoorDash is a data-driven company. We’ve always focused on the lowest level of details in order to create the best experience for the end user — whether that’s our partner merchants, their customers, or Dashers who fulfill deliveries through our platform.
At DoorDash, teams are empowered to own all aspects of their work — from how they navigate career growth to how they manage their work-life integration.
This February, in collaboration with our Black@ Employee Resource Group, we continue to acknowledge and reflect on the significance of Black history while embracing and embodying this year’s theme of African Americans & the Arts.
As part of our efforts to create a workplace that engages people of all backgrounds while fostering an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a vital role in building and driving the culture that our people experience. Today, we're thrilled to announce the formation of the Able@ DoorDash ERG, joining AAPI (Asian, Asian American, Pacific Islander), Black, Indigenous, Parents, Pride, Unidos, Veterans, and Women as our ninth official Employee Resource Group.
After opening our reimagined office in New York just a few months ago, we’ve continued to invest in creating spaces that meet the distinct needs of our teams with our latest office opening in Washington, D.C. Built from feedback on what matters most when our employees come into the office, we leaned into solutions to increase collaboration among DoorDash employees and external partners.
At DoorDash, we prioritize investing in, developing, and advancing all underrepresented groups. With our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) being one of the flagship programs for our DEI team, we’re excited to bring together more than 100 ERG leaders from across the tech industry to learn, connect, and up level their skills as part of our first-ever ERG Summit.
As part of our efforts to create a workplace that engages people of all backgrounds while fostering an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a vital role in building and driving the culture that our people experience. Because of their significance in shaping what life at DoorDash is like, we are proud to announce that leadership positions across our eight official ERGs — Women, Pride, Parents, AAPI (Asian, Asian American, Pacific Islander), Black, Unidos, Indigenous, and Veterans — will now receive compensation for their time and invaluable contributions.
At DoorDash, we foster a culture of innovation, tackling new challenges across our business to quickly build, test, and learn. This outlook underpins everything we do, including how we reimagined our New York office space to fit the needs of the teams who help our culture flourish.
As part of our intentional approach to engaging people of all backgrounds while fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion, we’re celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month alongside our Unidos@ Employee Resource Group.
