I'm only commenting on the IS department and have no opinions on other departments. - Usually no WFH/remote if you're a FTE; however, they do make exceptions with no consistency. - Poor product/project management, which is from top down culture, poor hiring and no training. A week or more of product development could have been triggered by one person's comment. - Primarily promotes within. The Group Directors (report to the CTO) have all been there for 15+ years and are yes men to the CTO. Most of these directors are inconsistent on their decision making, lack good leadership qualities, and don't treat their teams well. If you're lower on the ladder, you may not get visibility into these problems, which can make this place be reasonable to work at. - Don't expect to learn much technically here. It is an ok entry job as a boot camper, but is not worth staying longer for your career. - Promotions are random. You're either in a director's good graces and will be promoted over time or forever behind. Ironically, title inflation is rampant with some title deflation.
