A Detroit man was cited for starting a brush fire with fireworks the night of July 15 in a field southeast of the intersection of Bryan and Lois streets in Dearborn. The man was seen entering a house in the 4200 block of Lois Street before leaving the area on a blue 2004 Yamaha YZF R1 motorcycle.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) - A new ordinance proposed by Ward 6 City Councilwoman Wanda Smith would place more restrictions on fireworks use in Clarksville. In last night's council executive session meeting, Smith called the new ordinance necessary following a series of firework-related injuries over the July 4 holiday weekend.

Matthew Egglesden fired a rocket at the Grade I-listed building on June 26 as thousands of people celebrated Liverpool's Premier League title victory. The 19-year-old's act led to a small fire breaking out on one of the Liver Building's balconies which was put out by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.
