ProsWork life balance is great, actual unlimited PTO. Pretty good remote culture. Most of the employees are very nice humans, and management generally means well. The money situation seems pretty stable at a corporate level. Engineers have a lot of autonomy and product generally knows what they want.
ConsCompany is slowly shedding the best parts of the culture as it grows. Salary and options are not all that competitive, and the options are NSOs so the tax implications are very negative as valuation goes up. Management is very inexperienced and can be pretty tone deaf. They talk a lot about their values but really struggle to follow through, especially when money is on the line.
