Scranton firefighters worked to extinguish a house fire in the city's West Side earlier today. Crews were dispatched at about 10:28 a.m. to the 416-418 19th Ave. as reports came in of smoke and fire. Smoke continued to rise from the building as efforts to quell the fire remained ongoing by 11 a.m.
