The company culture used to be excellent. WLB was solid (with some project exceptions). The engineering culture and team has been and continues to be the best part about working there.
Tons of layoffs (at least 4 rounds) in the last 2 years. People seem constantly anxious about being fired. The incentive structures in the engineering org promote pushing as much code out as possible to prove your value. You are de-incentivized to think through a project thoroughly and take time to plan because "scrappiness" and perceived output is what matters.
