“Most filthy stinking scum sludge company of 21st century”

Verified User Current Employee · R********* · Technical Analyst - Senior - Aug 24, 2020

ProsMany employees are babes in the woods, unaware of this basic core framework of the organization which is downright thick hardcore sinister akin to rotten filthy underworld mafia enterprise.

ConsLloyds Register does not have an ethics division or facility to report unethical actions in the internal portal or in it's internal systems to report harassments, intimidations, insinuations, innuendos and bigotry by the HR personnels and Managers. If some complainant reports harassment case against the manager (with ample proof like phone recordings, 100s of emails) to the HR of the country/region, the privileged Manager uses his unwritten immunity writ veto power to get HR department issue clean certificate to the Manager and blame the complainant. All managers have veto power and immunity from getting investigated. HR department will further threaten the complainant to not engage in phone recordings. This clean certificate emboldens the Manager and the complainant will have to face an even more tough time leading to complainant leaving to preserve sanity. Not to forget the lowering of performance scores and daily heckling from Manager in the meantime. If the complainant further indulges in phone recordings, the HR will subsequently issue dismissal letter. This phone recording matter will be treated as a stand alone subject/reason for dismissal and no request will be entertained by HR to link it to previous harassment complaint. So now we know why this sinister org does not have an ethics portal. The HR personnels who collude with the manager will get promoted next year with salary increments. It is an unwritten law in Lloyds Register that the managers bring the business and therefore they are provided the highest level of immunity by the organization, Managers know this but most low level employees dont, They have to go through this to understand. HR department normally claims independence and the harassment flyers promptly mentions that the managers against whom a complaint has been made will not be incharge of the investigations, but in reality the Manager will be in the driving seat. London HR department and top management will always side with the Manager and not the complainant. Having exhausted all internal avenues for justice, If employee reports the incident in the yearly anonymous employee opinion survey, that goes promptly rejected because Business comes first. So the bottom line is; lower down the ladder, the employees have no basic human rights to be treated fairly respectfully because business comes first.

By the way, this filthy stinking rotten Lloyd's Register under cuts the salaries to pay their board members 1-3 million pounds Annual salaries+bonuses.
