Like most federal jobs you can get here and be complacent and never leave because they don’t really fire people. Pay is fair for the area. Great scientific resources Globally respected institution looks good on resume.
If looking for career opportunities and development- this is not the place …you will have to wait for someone to leave or retire . This place mostly hires and promotes white And international individuals. Don’t fall for claims of diversity and inclusion. Lots of claims of racism and mistreatment. Lots of passive aggressive behavior and micro aggressions built in the leadership and non minority staff. Minorities beware you will not have the name opportunities as your white colleagues.
