- Why are some system design interviews so large in scope for senior positions? I've seen typical design a web app to do x for a small number of users type questions , which are reasonable, but why ask things like design twitter, slack, fb etc. to senior candidates? In real life projects of this scale would never be led by a mid level engineer which is what senior is. Just more
