The report released Wednesday by PitchBook and the National Venture Capital Association, which looked at venture capital, angel financing, exits and other relevant industry analysis, found that 20 of the top 25 largest early-stage deals raised by U.S. companies between January and March were completed by companies based in either California (12 deals) or Massachusetts (eight deals).
