this company is going to the moon.

Conspick your team wisely. this is still a beautiful company for people on the right teams. add pretty good comp and remote without cost of living adjustments and you have a one of kind opportunity.

that being said, if you’re not on a darling team that owns core stable features, be prepared to grind or get PIPed. i have seen collaborators burn out and leave for greener pastures within a year. some projects have death marched for years.

work life balance isn’t a company value. so there are teams where long hours are the norm and you’ll fall behind if you’re not a maniac. if you’re going to work like you’re at 🍌 you might as well work there for that sweet 2022 amzn TC. great company for young single engineers for the upside though.
