Talking Rain
- Interviewers who ask LC hards I am not talking about fake hard questions like LRU cache or whatever. Talking about actual hards (assuming candidate hasn't seen the problem before), like trapping rain water 3d or kth order statistics with some sort of complicated problem, or those DP problems with 2 dimensions and 2+ constraints.
- Weather in Bay Area? Can someone please tell me wtf is happening? I feel like it's been raining and gloomy since like October or November. And we're going to have rain all week next week. I think last year was similar. It's like we've had 6-7 months of gloom. Where is all this sunshine and 70 degree weather we keep tal
- Offer Questions Hey guys! I want to thank the Blind community for the support and opening my eyes to the larger tech world, outside my local area. I received an L6 SWE offer from Square and have lots of questions lol. 1. I only have until Monday to sign, which does not seem like a lot of time at all. Is this norm
- vote Seattle vs. Bay Area? Better city in general? Better tech scene? I am in the DC area currently, and its flooded with boring government jobs that I as an immigrant can't even take anyways. There's a decent tech scene here, but still very lacking compared to what I hear about Seattle and Bay Area. Which is better between Seattle and Bay Area in terms of tech job s
- Caffeine addiction Drink 400 to 800 mg a day Mid 20s, male Anyone else deal with this? How big of a problem? - Questions for republican friends I don't wanna argue, I actually wanna understand your thoughts on any or all of the below 1. For/against destruction or concealment of govt climate data? 2. If a major ($$$)?health crisis afflicted you or family and you had to go through bureaucracy hell, would you rather fight Fed Govt bureaucrat
- Thoughts on Seattle? Is it a nice place to live? Is it easy to make friends if I don't drink or club? I've never been to Seattle, but it sounds like a great place. I'm not a fan of mega US cities like NYC. I'm from a non-US big city myself, but my biggest issue is that people in US big cities tend to be less nice, harder to talk to and make friends with. I am a shy extrovert who likes to make friend
- vote Are system design interviews easier to clear? Your toolbox in system design is only so large. You only have a few colors and shapes of Lego bricks... additionally if you’ve done it IRL there are nuances and issues you can speak to that will greatly increase interview performance. Compare this to an esoteric LC problem like trapping rain water
- link Bloomberg New Grad interview process - accept an offer Hi everyone! I recently accepted an offer from Bloomberg as New Grad Software engineer. Since I got a lot of help here in Blind, I want to share my experience so it will help others as well! I start my process on the mid of March 2021, where a guy I know referred me for the position. I think it is

- How Lyft’s Missteps Killed its Chances of Overtaking Uber Article: I If there were ever a time when Lyft had a chance to catch up with Uber, it was last year. A constant barrage of negative publicity, including a #deleteUber social media movement, offered Lyft a gift in terms of picking up business. But while Lyft made some gains, it still finished the ye
