The union that represents Bloomington Police officers has made two big-dollar campaign contributions to city council candidates, in the latest sign that local police reform efforts may hinge in part on the outcome of the April 6 election.

Vaccines will be offered in all 64 parishes of Louisiana this weeks at 618 providers. Vaccines are still limited to Phase 1B, Tier1, and patients should make their appointment for the second dose when they get their first dose. There is no guarantee that providers receiving vaccine this week will receive vaccine in the future.

Teachers waiting on a COVID-19 inoculation got a boost of confidence Wednesday when Gov. Tom Wolf announced that educators will go to the front of the line for the new single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
