Manageable workload. Free medical, dental insurance for singles and $100/mo for couples. Excellent coverage. Good HR support. Nice people, with few exceptions.
1. Lowball pay. No 401k match. Announced “Unlimited PTO” as a perk in April 2022. But Isn’t that just cost-cutting in disguise of an employee perk? Cuz they won’t pay you cash for the days not taken any more. 2. Low employee retention rate since 2021. 3. Managers (VP and up) in this company are all close friends (or friends of friends) of CXO brothers. They either worked together at a previous company or even friends from high school. Why is this a bad thing? They don’t really listen to outside the “boys club”. They might pretend to but they did nothing to improve the status quo. Employees who later quit for way better jobs like are nobody in their eyes. These managers talk as if they were some untouchable tech tycoons yet they are just not. 4. For reasons mentioned above, real talents usually jump. You’re left with brown noses and intellectually sub-par people to work with. They are laidback tho so that’s not too bad.
