You can take time off as long as you have it due to the union. Great food around New Haven. Things to do.
New Haven crime Co-Workers are stuck up because the work for “Yale”. They are lifers and it’s embarrassing. Students are full of themselves. It’s gotten worse since COVID restrictions ended. They walk around like no one is sick. Plenty of students and staff are sick. Yale just doesn’t report it. They are isolated in 3 buildings currently. Faculty, Staff, and Students have hygiene issues. Many students do not shower. The building (especially Yale Architecture) are dirty. It’s confirmed facilities doesn’t clean during off peak hours. Many people who work at Yale get paid absurd wages for very little work. Why is Dining Services getting paid $35 - $50 and hour? Why are painters getting $45 an hour? Dining Services fights. Homeless people always around. Severe Income inequality.
During my internship with Yale New Haven Health, I gained important hands-on experience, enhanced my communication and research skills, and expanded my horizons.
