The aforementioned telcos have tied up with original equipment manufacturers and technology providers which are Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, and C-DOT. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) are serving over 5,000 branches and ATMs of the Indian Bank. The Indian Bank is a state-owned finance service and banking body. According to a report from The New Indian Express, the state-run telco has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Bank for providing high-quality, uninterrupted telecom services.

CHENNAI: Indian Bank signed an MoU with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited to provide seamless telecom services to the bank at a competitive rate. The release said, the MoU was signed in the presence of executive director of Indian Bank and chief general manager of BSNL, Chennai Telephones and will provide access to latest technologies at great competitive rates.

Telecom operators recorded 12.27 per cent rise in their total revenue at Rs 71,588 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2020 on a year-on-year basis, according to data published by sector regulator Trai on Tuesday. The gross revenue of the telecom service providers was Rs 63,764 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
