If you can survive here, you can survive anywhere. Made me a millionaire through stock appreciation over the years.
Absolute mayhem, at least in the Starship org. Ridiculous deadlines and designs seem half-assed to meet them. Expect to take on 2-3 people’s workload. Your sanity will be tested, but you will be rewarded if you can last 4-5 years and vest.
How hard is it to get into the SpaceX for ex/current Meta SWEs or MLs? I am a generalist with no particular stack preferences. Do they even hire nowadays? Is it worth it? Btw I don’t care about WLB nor visa issues. #engineering #software #swe #ml #elon #spacex
How would a highly motivated SWE make his way from working at a financial institution to work at SpaceX? Is Boeing or another industry peer a good stepping stone? IDC about the WLB, want to be a part of pushing humanity forward
Which one is a better place for new grads and for building my career? Assume the same TC but Hawthorne vs. NYC. #spacex #palantir
Hey folks, I’ve been so fortunate to receive an offer at both SpaceX and Meta for a new grad position, and I’m looking for some guidance on making a decision. Meta is better on paper in terms of compensation, benefits, location preference, and most likely work life balance. However, I just find S...Read more
Have an offer from SpaceX. I interned at intel and got a return offer there as well and now debating which to go with after graduation. TC for both are pretty much the same and both are in-person. SpaceX is LA and intel AZ. No current TC as I am in school full time. Edit: Even tho I’m a new grad,...Read more

Many of my smart friends hate Elon and Tesla. They went on to say SpaceX is good for nothing. I believed them because otherwise they are very smart and career successful people, and I moved to the US a few months back only. I always thought these people know more about what’s going on than I do. Bu...Read more
Could someone please share what the work culture looks like for SW or FW engineers at SpaceX? Are there career growth opportunities?
If it were just about the internship, I would absolutely choose SpaceX (especially because I am already an SDE intern at Amazon now). I am mainly wondering where might be a better place to start my career if the internship turns into a full-time offer. SpaceX fulfills my passions, but I’m worried th...Read more
Adobe Pros: Good pay Good benefits Good WLB Working on a fun product with a fun team Adobe Cons: Move to NYC, which is a high cost of living/culture shock? not FAANG? SpaceX (TC 170) vs Robinhood (TC 225) vs ScaleAI (TC 190) for new grad What do you all think? In terms of priority for me: Career Growth + Learning opportunities ->; Comp ->; WLB ->; Location. Heavily been leaning towards SpaceX since they have always been a dream company for a while since I

Graduating this spring with 2 offers- SpaceX- 142k TC AWS- 156k TC I did some digging and the cost of living difference is actually pretty negligible after all. Role-wise I would be doing front end at AWS, which is not my preference. I want to work hard in my twenties, so the poor WLB at either ...Read more

BF and I are figuring out post-grad jobs, all EE roles. Either both going to SF for astranis or BO (me) and SpaceX (him) in Seattle. TCs are all comparable unless you think one of these companies is going to be more successful than the others and not really the main concern. We care most about where...Read more
