Comp. But no refresher if stock goes up. Nice sf office.
WLB. Very Top down chain of command. Keeps getting worse. Comply or get out. Losing its strong engineering and leadership
Item in Uber eats is $14.54/lb Item in real life is $12.99/lb Got totally fucked on this delivery wtf
Literally fuck Uber eats up the ass How bad is Uber struggling financially?? Was able to get a refund only after going back and forth with worthless useless CS for 40 minutes and suddenly got a refund after threatening to cancel my Uber One and transfer my $2K average monthly spendings to DD. Hi all, I will be interning at Uber this summer and was given an option to intern at Uber Eats in NYC. The other option would be "normal" Uber in SF. Unfortunately, this is as much as I know right now. What have you guys heard about Eats? Do you think it would be a good idea?
After seeing these, I am not even interested to order on Uber Eats anymore. Add a tip to it and your order fee almost goes up 2x! 🤦♂️ And the poor UberOne comes in and says “you saved $1 on this order”. What a joke.
how the hell is Doordash leading the category? how tf did Uber drop the ball on this? werent they killin it in food delivery just a second ago? how did Uber lose the lead on food delivery?!
The amount of fees they add to delivery is insane. Used to be cheap couple of yrs ago but now it’s like 2x the actual price of the food
What happened? A 15% service fee on your order and a delivery fee? GTFO! I’m going back to doordash
Added two BOGO items and have Uber One, but it still comes up much more than in-store order everytime. 😂 The item mark up, taxes and fees are unexplainable . Finally you also have to tip their drivers 10-20% on the mark up because they don’t have anything left after paying their world class enginee...Read more
Uber eats is bad. Same order always cost 4-5 dollars more on uber eats even with uber-one! What extra taxes and services are they adding? #uber #doordash #food #grubhub
What % do you tip drivers? It feels a little crazy to tip 20% on a $100 bill when they’re driving for 10 minutes.
Hi all, I am currently interviewing for uber eats senior PM role in India and wanted to understand the culture and wlb there. I am currently in the US and assessing this option as a way to move to India. TC: $450k Yoe: 8 #pm #product #productmanager #uber
Paid for uber one and get the middle finger. No explanation. F**k off, Doordash way better. I literally did nothing except try to order from Wal Mart. I was able to buy from anywhere else fine
I have been fortunate to have had my past 20+ meals with the 40% discount but now that you have reduced my promos to 20% I will be seeking food delivery elsewhere. Are you aware that my GF does the meal delivery for free PROMO once a week? Doordash, I see your 30% and cheaper service fee and will ...Read more
Hiring SSE/ Architect L5A and Sr.EM / EM II. We have recently moved this charter from US to India - Hyderabad. Be the first Architect or Sr.EM and help us build and scale this Global charter from scratch and be the face of Uber Eats.
Anyone able to share a little about what’s going on? Curious about what kind fault is causing this, hoping there’s an interesting public postmortem on it
I've recently gotten an offer for a Strategic Operations Manager position in the Uber Eats (Eater Operations) team. The only thing holding me back from accepting the offer is the fear of layoffs. I'm at Amazon currently in a safe & steady job. However, the pay is shite. The move to Uber will give m...Read more
would you feel safe ordering Doordash or Uber Eats given that you live in the South Bay? #covid-19 #coronavirus
Seriously?! $25 in taxes and fees *before* tip on a $55.05 order from a restaurant just 1.9mi away… And this is with Uber One btw. Subtotal: $55.05 Delivery fee: $3.49 Delivery fee discount: -$3.49 Service Fee: $18.17 Local Operating Fee: $5.00 This fee helps offset the increased cost of regula...Read more
So I am lazy, okay. I ordered delivery from a restaurant a few blocks away from me. But the driver is taking a 20 minute detour to Cap Hill and back to deliver to someone else first. I paid the delivery fee, so it was the other person who had the discount, not me! This is ridiculous.
