- Feel like you're making a difference to sellers lives - TCE is decent for a non-developer role
- Employee experience is manager and org reliant - Strategic direction of chasing rare and unique inventory only makes sense in a ZIRP environment when there are buyers flush with cash - Underinvestment in product with continued layoffs, the tech stack is outdated and there isn't any executive will to revamp the seller and buyer product experience - WLB is poor and will only continue as the WallStreetification of the company progresses
How are promotions at ebay generally work? Like how long it takes to be become mts1 from senior engineer?
Non-engineering roles, both are offered as senior manager level. Seems promotion at ebay is hard but would love to hear your opinion.
