Anyone living in any part of the SF bay area who is having a sprint phone please give some feedback on how sprint network is. Is it recommended to get ?.
I commure to office from Mill Creek to SLU and I work while I'm commuting on bus. I have sprint/t-mobile network which just let's me use 500 mb for hotspot and the network has a lot of blind spots along the way. Is there a better network that has great mobile data hotspot options and decent price ra...Read more
Headline news today! The merger is most def going through. What's interesting is through reading about this entire saga and seeing T-Mobile employees on Blind I'm actually seriously considering switching to T-Mobile/Sprint. Just seems like it's the best company out of the major US network providers....Read more
#Sprint has a far bit of assets in the ground and is still a fairly large tier-1 network provider. Any clue what #tmobile is going to do with it? Sell it for steep discount to Level 3? #networkengineer Just curious....
Have tried T-Mobile, AT&T/cricket, and now with Sprint (cheaper but call quality is terrible, even to others on same network) around downtown, Queen Anne and Ballard area. Moving east and moving thinking it might be a good idea to change, maybe back to T-Mobile?
When I see the cost of the plans, it just seems like a gigantic waste of money. I don't even call, text or use mobile data so much but shelling out $40/mo per line is just wasteful. And don't even get me started on the quality of network. And you guessed right, I use Sprint. Sue me! Looking to swit...Read more
So, not to bash on a company but I basically know no one that uses Sprint... I'm all for supporting the underdog but is this merger really going to give T-mobile/Sprint an edge against AT&T and Verizon? Would you be willing to switch to this new merged network provider? I read that this merger is su...Read more
Greetings all, I am wondering if there exists something akin to additional assignments, projects, sprint work, etc that a MSFT employee would be able to take advantage of within MSFT? For example, my job is as a PM but I see that somewhere else in MSFT exists a 4 week project for someone with SWE o...Read more
I am seeing a dangerous trend that Indian female engineers are trying to excessively push for career growth and ready to sacrifice family and health over career growth. I know very closely an engineer (I mentor) in Amazon with spouse in Snowflake. She had a complex pregnancy but she continued to pu...Read more

I've come to the conclusion I don't have it takes to be a SWE in todays world. I'm very convinced I am getting kicked out of the SWE industry 1. I'm a slow learner and forgetful. I can't figure things out on my own, I have always needed clear requirements when completing the tickets. I can't code o...Read more

I am a SWE with 8yoe, in the Bay, and am getting very bored of my current job, so looking for a change. I am generally interested in infra stuff, both low level (networking, kernel, ...) as well as higher level (distributed systems, databases, ...). The things I value, in order, are: - Interestin...Read more
Hi! I’m a college senior looking to move to SF after school, but am struggling on the job front and even more so with all that’s happening. Some background on me: I studied Interactive Media and Entrepreneurship at school. I’ve had lots of internships (marketing-related; product development; produc...Read more
Before engineering I was doing community (economic) development as a program manager. Got into tech through a network connection that trusted me & was building 3 full stack websites for clients, needing someone to manage the projects. It paid more than the other gig so I took it and also learned t...Read more
Currently in summer before final year of CS undergrad. Doing an internship at a tiny startup (returning for a second year), but also just signed a contract with a small company whose owner I know semi-personally (part-time, I was upfront about max 10hrs/week of commitment), where I intend on doing t...Read more
YOE: ~1.5, previously at Apple and joined Amazon this year. TC: ~180k I was wondering what I could do to set myself up for an L4 offer at G in the next 1-3 years, with FB to leverage if possible. So I recently transferred from what I felt was a toxic launch / project within Amazon to another team that I felt was going to use my skills that I have a background in. This was the case at first but within very little time (less than a month) I was moved from the intended project to another projec...Read more
