Good to have on your resume for next future jobs
No work life balance, 60+ hours is the expectation for everyone
..so they could save their current employees that they liked since there was a mandated “cut 10% every year” rule? So managers went and found sacrificial lambs externally? Lol do you think the same thing is going to happen at tik tok? https://www.inc.com/jason-aten/amazons-controversial-hire-to-fir...Read more

Denied Leave, was asked what treatment I got when called in sick, forced to divulge anonymous daily Connection scores etc Didn’t want unnecessary trouble , so didn’t escalate. My friend got fired from Amazon due to performance reasons. Can he reapply to Amazon after 5 years. Or is he banned to reapply.
Quote: "The issue is widespread throughout the company, not just with warehouse workers; from entry level roles all the way up to vice presidents, the lowest attrition rate for one of the company’s 10 tiers of employees was almost 70 percent, with the highest reaching a staggering 81.3 percent." This week Amazon Retail CEO was fired. Can Amazon Managers fire an employee directly or do they need to go through Focus and PIP and then Fire. PS this is related to performance issue and not due breaking some policies at work. Help is much appreciated!
I don’t care what the outcome of this lawsuit is, but DOJ literally blamed apple for amazon fire’s failure in 2014. 💀
Been in amazon for around one year & I think the new manager is planning to fire me. In my last 1:1, I directly asked him if I am in focus & he denied. Will they fire without any PIP? In that case can I get any severance? TC: 200 Level: L4 #amazon #fire #severance
During my interview with Amazon at the GHC, I was asked the well known two sum problem. But unfortunately I choked in the moment and provided a suboptimal solution with a time complexity of O(n^2). Despite this I received a job offer from them. I shared this with some friends and they mentioned rum...Read more

Essentially, it says that I must attend counseling classes for a year, and the case will be dismissed after a p...Read more
They literally have no hiring committee left and need contractors to work for pennies and have 8 month contracts lol.
Does Amazon fire a new employee within first 6-7 months? What are generally the expectations from new employees in Amazon, how much ramp-up time they get? Can a new employee get away after doing some blunders in the initial months?
How much truth is in this? I don’t see as many PIP posts. Are we in the post PIP era of Amazon?

Are there any possible warning signs for new grads that could mean they were hired just to fire for pip quotas? I had to pass a 3 round on-site to get my offer and they are giving me a 22k signing bonus. Does that make it less likely that I was hired just to get fired? I'm excited to join Amazon b...Read more
