Was in a 1:1 with my director and they confirmed that LinkedIn is now in a hiring freeze. I think this brings all top tech companies in a state of hiring slowdown or complete freeze. PS: sorry to be the bearer of bad news ☹️

The hundreds of comments on the post are 99% indian. It's wild out there! We need a h1b pause as we clearly don't even have enough jobs for indians here in US anymore. Not factoring unemployed citizens and 1% of h1b holders that aren't Indian. Market is saturated

Whenever there is a new hire, especially if they are senior+, do you usually stalk them to see if they are a potential threat? i usually do that to see if the new hire is going to raise the bar for all of us.
