- Great health insurance - Good food - Brand value
- Very bad management (recently) - No vision, botched plans - Bad work life balance - Some teams have toxic culture because of pressure from management - Poor system infrastructure infrastructure, everything keeps breaking all the time.
I dont want to share my “expertise” on inane topics, nor do I want to read people’s shitty hot takes. It’s popping up in my feed with no way to block them (i started reporting them as spam, which seems to work reduce the amount) and now youre sending me DMs and notifications to get me to engage mor...Read more
LinkedIn could make life a lot easier by having exclusive information on whether the job will sponsor h-1B or not!
Anybody else notice that linkedin appears to be trying to force premium more now? For example, I can’t even see more than 3 employees of my friend’s startup without premium now. How is this a premium feature? I shouldn’t have to pay for that.
If you have someone in your network with a premium account and unfollow this person while still on your network! Will they get a notification if i followed them back?? Keep in mind this person is a connection already and premium account
Any managers or recruiters ever used it? I never used it.
I find it super annoying that on Linkedin when I search for jobs, I can only pick from a certain list of locations or at the top I can input one specific location. I want to be able to click on every city for where I am looking. I have tried to see if I can mess with the URL to get the geoID of all ...Read more
New features. Missing gaps. #tech
I got word that Twitter is currently building in features to compete directly with LinkedIn. #linkedin #twitter
X seems to be working better and ships a new feature every now and then, imagine how better job search would be if he bought LinkedIn and launched great features.

Should we add swipe features on LinkedIn? I mean the potential match quality is higher, based on educational level and job experience. Also profile pictures are more real. Tinder is getting depressing for me recently TC: 🥜
Can anyone provide information on the cost of a LinkedIn Recruiter profile (not the Recruiter Lite version)? I'm interested in learning about the pricing and any special features. Thanks!
For a content marketer at LinkedIn to chase down and exploit Uber employees for an article highlighting LinkedIn Premium features...are you kidding me? How is this appropriate? https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/former-uber-engineers-say-sexism-abuse-widespread-caroline-fairchild
just to see who looked at my profile and be able to msg others? wth!!! (No, Msft doesn't give us LinkedIn for free) Only 5 InMails/month for fucking $40. One of the features is Open Profile. Seriously? That’s the main functionality. And then they say “for as little as”
Social media companies hire from other competitors all the time. I checked through LinkedIn Talent Insights - how come no one at Figma is from Lucid? I'd think their features are quite similar in nature (canvas, drawing tools, etc), especially with Figjam vs. Lucidspark. #figma #lucid
I don’t use any in-mail. I just use LinkedIn premium to see who stalked the profile that too is difficult because most of the users are using LinkedIn in private mode. People who don’t use LinkedIn stalking in the private mode don’t use LinkedIn often or don’t know about the feature. Can the featu...Read more
I was just wondering if LinkedIn would be interested in buying Blind in the future. Blind has a vibrant community and it can become more popular than linkedin one day if it starts adding LinkedIn like features (while maintaining user anonymity of course). Linkedin can benefit from having blinds acti...Read more
Last year I got about 10 offers including all FLAG, Uber, Lyft. My goal is to get offers for SWE role at Jane Street and HRT by the end of next year for 500k+ TC. Since I don’t have much experience interviewing with trading firms, I’m wondering what I could do in the next year to increase my chance...Read more
Am I the only one who’s annoyed by marketing professionals who call themselves “AI Experts” on LinkedIn when all they really do is talk to ChatGPT and post about its new features?
I’m a SAP Solution Architect. Currently interviewing for Customer Engineer role at Google. Is it a pure sales job? So many folks on LinkedIn seem to be focused on frequently posting GCP features. Current base: 175k / 13 YOE.
