People (Even China team) are really nice. Decent compensation and benefit (partial 401k match, mortgage benefit, ... etc) but I definitely want the Forma 300 bucks if possible.
1. 2 days RTO is recommended by the company but looks like not every team following this. 2. Depends on your team and product, you probably need to work with China team at least once a week. However it is possible that you don't need to work with China team even you are SWE (I have heard one or two team don't need to work with China team at all) 3. WLB depends on your team, but in general your manager will throw more tasks to your plate if your task looks 'small'. If you are US Ops, you are pretty much doomed since you will have to work with China team to deploy their product. 4. Senior managements are trying their best to make Zoom to stay relevant to AI and convert Zoom into a platform company but looks like they don't have much experience on it. 5. Zoom is not only a video conference company but they have ton of products (Zoom Chat/ Zoom Docs / Zoom Contact Center. ... etc). However, most of our customer are not aware of the new products, so I have no idea what the marketing team doing (or maybe we don't have one???) 6. The internal communication between teams is a mess. The policies keeps changing all the time and sometimes it impacts the whole roadmap of the team.
Zoom is going on crazy ride with P/E ratio now more than 2000s. Do you think this stock is highly overvalued? Correction... P/E value now is more than 2300 after today's rally
I bought 30k at the peak and saw it tank enormously after earnings. should I cut my losses? When wfh ends this stock is dead so not sure I want on to it too long #zoom
I bought it at IPO and sold it at a small gain.. but feeling like an idiot for selling... But the multiples don't make sense..
Is ZM worth a buy now ? Or do you think it has more downside with competitors . Thoughts
What do you think? https://apple.news/Aa-V9G8NBRr6rl0a8-43JVA
why is it that Slack’s stock has been just average, but Zoom’s stock is killing it? they both face tough competition from incumbents in their respective industries
Umm you realize that the more usage they have the more money it costs them, right? The best scenario for Zoom, BlueJeans and all these apps is for someone to pay for subscription and then use it sparingly, if you are on it 24/7, they are bleeding money in infra costs. I have a personal rule to neve...Read more

Great success for Chinese entrepreneur - Eric Yuan! Good job! 🎉👏 https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/31/zoom-zm-earnings-q2-2021.html #offer #tech
when many companies are banning the client?
Stocks that were pandemic favorites have declined sharply in recent months, with DocuSign's crash today the most telling. Is this a sign of things to come? Does this signal a broader move out of tech stocks to other sectors?
Each Quarter Zoom has dropped even though their result is amazing. How did it affect your life and TC? #tech #TC #swe
Seeing so many posts about stock based high TC. Like snap or Robinhood the last year's But you zoomers don't realize the reason is paper money and empty promises are cheap. It's because there is 0 cost almost for them and without profit there is no real stock value Hope you learned your lesson now...Read more
