For my new job I need to code in java. Should I just do leetcode or do Coursera Princeton algorithms or both?
Can anyone recommend the subj? I found a Coursera course from Princeton, but looks like their programming assignments are in Java (imagine a puking image here).
Only coded in Java and python before. Started Coursera but is it worth starting from C and then ramp up to C++. I heard there are some modern concepts in C++ so do i need to still start from basics if i know java? Any book’s recommendations? tc 420k
I am a software developer with 4 years of experience. I am looking to change jobs soon. I want to brush up my data structures and algos before I start practicing Leet Code. Can you guys recommend any courses on Coursera or Udemy that offers the DS and Algos course in Java?
Hello Blind, I would like to know few mult-threading and concurrency projects I can do to pick up some practical experience in those areas. They are big bonuses for software engineer roles in Atlassian and Canva, Sydney. Presently, I am doing the concurrency in Java course from coursera.
Medium-strong in Python. Weak in Java (2/3 of one course in a Coursera specialization). Weaker in Scala. No coursework on algorithms. Lots of aptitude for programming. Which learning path should I follow to transition from DS to SWE at FAANG?
I am not a SWE. I have basic knowledge of java and databases. I would like to become a SWE. So looking for any online resources where I can learn. I can't do videios like Coursera etc. Please suggest any websites I can follow to learn before I start leetcode.
Let us take Java as an example. The language is small. But there are frequent updates. So how do you keep up to dat with the new releases? I am good at learning the new stuff. Looking at the Java docs isn’t super helpful to me. For example, if I learn Function interface, I forget it. I’m guessing ...Read more
