WLB on average is good, though not as good for many since the latest layoffs in Jan. Culture has always been Twitch's strength as a platform and work environment - lots of friendly and collaborative people.
Over 50% of the company was laid off in the past year. Two massive layoffs March 2023 and Jan 2024, with smaller silent axes in between. Company has hunkered down with Amazon pressure, and growth is not available anymore outside maybe a few small pockets. Those looking to grow their career have left or are planning to.
is there a base salary capped at 180k across levels in SF (L5 and above) ? similarly is there a cap for initial RSUs too ?
Applied to several positions at Twitch, so curious if it will be changed to RTO (assuming I hear back) #tech #twitch #amazon #returntooffice #rto
