Can’t think of any due to executive level leadership. It was once a great company that was culture and people driven. That has been gutted with 2 major layoffs in the last 4 years.
With recent 12k layoffs, have to do more with less. Incredibly stretch goals that are unattainable which makes me think they are using it to justify further layoffs. Recent change in RTO policy = 5 days a week.
Had a side business with Airbnb. After the redesign it has killed my business. I was doing 8-12k in revenue a month with 7 apartments it honestly has went down to $300. That's all the reservations I received in the month of may. I had an 18 month track record going and before the change had 80% occu...Read more
what questions should I ask the company I got hired with regarding financials? I am kind of new to the start up scene, and I know asking revenue / burn rate is normal for start ups, but what about ones that have "exited" ? Thanks
Any non-tech (can’t code) entrepreneur here ringing in >$1 million in annual revenues? Most of the start ups require app or its tech product oriented so I have seen folks with technical background launching it. Curious to here if there are entrepreneurs out there who cannot code but did successfu

Look how great unionizing has worked out for NBA players. You can have a union and still have competitive salaries and firings. The biggest thing I would want to see a tech union implement would be a cap of executive total compensation of 50:1 of the median employee compensation and a revenue/profit...Read more

I'm pretty much over "start-ups" after several years. Yes maybe there's 1 unicorn but finding it and working your ass off doesn't seem worth it. That being said, most companies in tech that are actually hiring Corp Finance seem to be private (Google, Apple, Amazon, Twilio, Dropbox, etc. just send g...Read more

Jan end is going to be another horrible period for tech! All companies will report their worst full year earnings in several years after the holiday period as consumers tighten spending the next 2 months. In order to stop their stocks from a free fall, they shall report atleast 5 to 10% layoffs on e...Read more

Context: I have been a tech recruiter for 5+ years (Amazon, Meta, Google, and start-up companies). I'm taking this year off to (a) recover from burn-out and (b) the job market is terrible right now. But tbh, if the market is still hot, I don't know if I can do another recruiting job. After my experi...Read more
