As a territory sales representative-senior sales representative for Progressive Fleet & Specialty Program’s commercial Lines mid and large fleet offering, you’ll manage agencies to support premium growth and the overall sales process. Through in-person meetings, you’ll develop relationships with agency leaders and production staff, you’ll educate agency personnel on products and value proposition to ensure their success. Additionally, you’ll provide sales and marketing support, develop an engagement strategy for each managed agency, and monitor effectiveness and agency performance. You’ll also be responsible for prospecting and vetting potential new partner agencies.
This role will require you to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance producer license within 90 days of starting the position.
Territory: Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Candidates must be able to travel to and meet with all appointed agencies and their respective marketing and production teams within this geographic area. There is overnight travel with this position (approximately 50-70%).
Home office location: Must reside in the Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC or surrounding communities.
Must-have Qualifications
• High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience.
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years outside business to business sales experience or territory management experience.
• Compliance with Progressive’s driving standards and/or policy
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Preferred Skills
• Licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer
• Demonstrated outside business to business sales experience
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Power BI
• Insurance industry certifications (ARM, ASCR, CIC, TRIP)
• Ability to use formal and informal networks to accomplish goals
Compensation
• $70,000 - $113,000/year based on position level
• Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
