WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a creative, collaborative Content Strategist to join our Employer Brand team at Bain. He/she will develop engaging content for Bain’s talent audiences – employees, recruits, alumni – that authentically represents our extraordinary culture, diverse viewpoints, and bold innovations. In close collaboration across our Marketing, Recruiting and Alumni teams, he/she will regularly produce articles, email copy, employee stories and infographics that showcase our company culture, values, and employee experience.
• Curate, manage and optimize talent-focused content from across the Bain network (50%)
You will as the Senior Specialist guided by Bain’s broader business goals for talent acquisition, create a frequent pipeline of content that brings our commercial momentum and extraordinary culture to life for recruits – through the voices of our employees. This may include mobilizing employee-generated content and producing profiles, case studies, multimedia, blog posts, and more. He/she will also optimize the content to ensures it reflects our brand attributes; oversee how the content is organized, maintained, and stored; and engage with a variety of stakeholders across Bain (including Talent Acquisition, Digital Marketing, Brand Studio) to amplify the content.
• Support Global Internal Communications (30%)
You will, with guidance from the Senior Manager of Internal Communications, play a key role in advancing Bain’s global internal communications strategy – creating communications that engage employees, inform them of Bain’s progress against its global strategy, and inspire a sense of community. This includes drafting copy for global internal communications, building email newsletters, researching and writing stories about our people, making proactive, data-driven recommendations about communications tactics and formats, and providing project management support for major initiatives.
• Provide Ongoing Communications Support for Bain’s Talent Populations (20%)
You will, with guidance from the Director of Employer Brand, the Sr. Specialist will provide daily communications support – research, copywriting, managing the Employer Brand content calendar, and collaborating with video, brand design, and social media teams – for Bain’s various talent audiences. He/she will frequently support CEO communications to employees, recruit communications, and Bain alumni communications. He/she will also develop and execute content strategy for milestone Employer Brand campaigns and projects throughout the year.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience and a minimum 4 years of experience in developing and implementing content strategies that align with business goals, target audience needs, and brand identity.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities to create compelling, accurate, and engaging content across external and internal channels.
• Experience collaborating effectively with video, creative services, social media, and communications teams.
• Experience in managing content projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with content marketing principles and tactics, including content distribution, promotion, and amplification strategies.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, explore new ideas, and think creatively to solve content-related challenges and drive innovation.
