Your Role At Baxter
This hybrid position supports the quality manager to ensure quality compliance for Field Service. The position requires oversight of projects whether through leading or through quality input. The position requires a functional understanding of FDA and ISO standards along with knowledge of Quality systems in Medical Device, to serve as a subject matter expert in quality compliance and partner with other departments to solve complex problems.

What You'll Be Doing
• Supports daily and ongoing servicing activities to ensure the successful execution of these activities.
• Manages and leads quality system compliance for UCAN Technical Services.
• Supports Baxter model of simplification by devising new approaches to complex problems.
• Supports and leads (where appropriate) activities in achieving annual quality goals in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
• Writes, reviews, analyzes and revises written procedures as needed to meet Global, Region, Country, Regulatory Requirements, etc.
• Partners with global services, and regions as a Subject Matter Expert to ensure successful implementation and compliance of procedures / regulations for UCAN Services.
• Leads and supports multiple process/product improvement projects.
• Develops new methodologies and improves existing methodologies to support UCAN Services.
• Leads audit ready status efforts. Maintains a high level of expertise in current regulatory requirements.
• May assist in executing quality system requirements where needed.
• Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Travel time: 25% Minimum
What You'll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science required.
• 5 or more proven years’ experience in Quality, Engineering, or related field.
• 2 or more years of experience in interpreting regulations and quality system
• Ability to coordinate with management on courses of action with minimal assistance using both written and verbal methods.
• Good interpersonal/communication/influencing/negotiation skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Working knowledge of FDA Regulations & ISO 13485 and Application of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Must be able to provide solutions that reflect understanding business objectives and cost implications.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical writing skills. Must be able to clearly document investigations, change control, etc.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 - $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
