What you’ll do
In this interactive role within the AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, you will develop and deliver marketing activities for the firm. Success is when more clients know us and consider us for complex consulting projects. Your primary focus will be to support our practice leaders in growing the business by nurturing new and existing relationships, using all components of the marketing playbook at each stage of the funnel.
We are looking for a passionate marketing professional to deliver targeted, tailored, and sophisticated marketing strategies and campaigns with global application. The ideal candidate will be an essential member of the marketing team, helping to shape and execute marketing plans that build awareness and enhance pipeline growth.
The Business Marketing Senior Specialist is a full-time role which reports to a Business Marketing Director and has significant interaction with the Business Marketing team. Paid relocation is not available for this position.
- Working closely with the Business Marketing team to deploy marketing activities in support of the firm’s branding and pipeline generating goals.
- Supporting the Firm’s corporate brand and marketing strategy by championing its adoption in the sector / practice e.g., global thought-leadership themes and assets, brand guidelines and assets.
- Working with the Marketing Director to set campaign strategy and design end-to-end integrated programs that expand the practice franchise – through proactive outreach and audience engagement, lead nurturing, and follow up.
- Creating campaign messaging pillars, ensuring that the practice’ content is aligned with campaign objectives.
- Support campaign fulfillment, acting as a point of contact for shared marketing services, and external vendors where appropriate.
- Curating content on the practice’s web pages, ensuring that it is up-to-date and regularly refreshed.
- Assist with managing the marketing program budget, tracking, and reporting campaign success metrics and ROI.
- Assist with facilitating marketing program and campaign targeting, including maintaining priority target accounts and contact lists.
- Managing list builds for programs, coordinating post-program follow-up, and reporting on program success.
- Working with sales enablement to manage all practice / sector marketing collateral, ensuring that it’s up-to-date and on-brand.
- Working with the Business Intelligence team to analyze and capture relevant market trends, competitor marketing strategies and buyer behavior and translating these into the Firm’s marketing campaign strategy, messaging and targeting.
- Partnering with marketing specialists and subject matter experts in digital, content, events, and media relations to leverage and contribute to the Firm’s best practice in campaign planning and execution.
- Liaising with regional marketing teams to ensure consistent and scalable marketing programs across geographic markets.
- Supporting the Marketing Director in planning and executing partnership marketing programs which support the Firm’s strategic objectives, liaising with the partner’s marketing teams.
- Assist with project management duties, such as: collecting and pursuing action points from meetings with business partners, ensuring that nothing “falls through the cracks” and that the project stays on track.
- Actively contributing to the Firm’s overall business marketing approach, by supporting key Firm initiatives, contributing case stories and use-cases, and generating ideas that enhance the impact of the marketing function.

What you’ll need
- Minimum three (3) years of work experience in the marketing and communications space, and an interest in campaign and project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study including but not limited to marketing, administration, project management, operations, communications, and/or data analytics.
- Knowledge of the essential B2B marketing toolkit, including email marketing, CRM, lead tracking / scoring / qualification, content creation, website UX, webinars, podcasts, video, and collateral management.
- Evidence of having supported successful marketing campaigns using a combination of on-line and off-line channels.
- Experience managing and hosting events, conferences, webinars, etc.
- Proactive and responsive; able to juggle multiple large and complex projects under time pressure and adapt to changing circumstances using sound judgment as to when escalation is required.
- Keen eye for differentiation. Ability to quickly study competitors, keep abreast of the external market and recommend ideas that position AlixPartners with differentiation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Adobe Creative Suite and ASANA a plus.
- Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
- Must be able to be physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave, and twelve holidays.
The hourly range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $48/hr. - $63/hr. with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
