The Opportunity
Collaboration. Innovation. Creativity. Our ideal candidate enjoys creating engaging human-centered content for a variety of media platforms. Record and edit video and audio to create meaningful learning experiences. Express information in an interesting and interactive manner combining text, audio, video, graphics, and animation.
The Work Itself
• Design, plan, edit, manage production of audiovisual projects and materials in video, slide, audio, digital, and print formats to meet learning objectives.
• Create motion graphics and custom artwork involving typography, photography, video, and illustrations.
• Pitch, propose, and provide rationale for creative direction.
• Ability to work on multiple projects within a variety of timelines and complexities staying on schedule and budget.
• Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of static and interactive elements (custom artwork, graphics, videos, animations, interactive simulations, etc.), while maintaining Ally branding/graphics standards.
• Perform usability testing and quality assurance of media elements used across platforms. Ensure media is accessible for all users, including those with disabilities.
• Provide initial conception (storyboarding, etc.) and estimates for media development.
• Develop layout and concept designs for approvals.
• Collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, on all aspects of projects, including planning, content, production level and platforms, turnaround time, corrections, approvals, and project estimates.
Skills
The Skills You Bring
• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 2 years of experience in a related role required
• Proficiency with at least one of the following video tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator required
• Project management experience preferred.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft suite, with learning technologies or software a plus.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, be self-directed, apply analytical skills, and think creatively.
