About The Role
Join LendingClub’s 2024 Summer Internship, located in the heart of San Francisco, CA. If you’re a rising senior or recent graduate looking for an opportunity in Technology, apply to our 10-week program. Starting in June and concluding in August, our Internship Program offers a rich environment for professional and personal growth.
As an Intern, you'll bring your passion, innovativeness and expertise to help make impossible happen and evolve with purpose. You’ll benefit from hands-on experience, lunch & learns, and shadowing sessions. Your manager, who will also be your mentor, will provide guidance throughout the program.
What You'll Do
• You’ll be assigned a project to work on and complete during the internship
• You’ll learn the best practices of data engineering and analytics to build data pipelines
• You’ll collaborate with your team and work cross-functionally with other departments
• You’ll showcase your project during a presentation to LendingClub employees at the end of the 10-week program
About You
• Rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Recent graduates are welcome as well!
• Experience with development using Java, Python or Scala
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Experience with SQL, GIT, Jira, Confluence (wiki) is a strong plus
• Exposure to machine learning models, GenAI, LLM is a strong plus
• Eagerness to learn and contribute
• Self-motivated and excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest in Fintech and LendingClub
• Passionate about changing the banking industry
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
• Passionate about customer problems and learning new technologies
• You are data driven and analytically focused
• You can think analytically and strategically, have a can-do attitude, are not afraid to ask questions, and can think outside the box
Work Location
San Francisco, CA.
We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $32 hourly.
