CME Group is currently looking for a Quant Risk Research year-round intern.
This candidate will assist the The Quant Risk Group on day-to-day activities in support of their models and products: Risk modeling with data driven approaches, data analysis and ad-hoc projects, comprehensive of thorough testing.
Principal Accountabilities
• Support the team in their research and modeling effort
• Support the team in the development of models and products
• Support the team in their day-to-day activity of providing quant services to the clearing members.
• Perform independent analysis in projects that could be valuable for the team.
Skills / Software Requirements
• Proficiency in any SQL dialects to work on RDBMS
• Proficiency in an interpreted language for research (Python, R)
• Proficiency in a compiled language for production preferred (C++, Java)
Education
BS in a quantitative discipline: Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics
Preferred advanced degree Master or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline.
Primary Location: New York
