JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Opportunity
The Director of Americas West & Programs Marketing, remotely based in the United States, is a pivotal role leading all aspects of the field and programs marketing function in our West Americas region and working alongside the local sales leadership team. Your mission is to lead our dedicated team of field marketing managers by crafting a strategic marketing plan that aligns with sales and partner goals.
You will also be responsible for Field Marketing Programs, most notably, Minutes to Meltdown and our company stores.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Americas Marketing, this role partners closely with our Field sales Field CTO and partner teams and requires expertise in collaborator management. You will focus on developing programs that drive demand. This position requires outstanding leadership skills, creativity, and a value minded approach to marketing strategies.
What You’ll Do…
• Own and build the regional marketing strategy for our West Americas region including cross-functional strategic planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Increase brand presence across the various sub-regions defining Commvault as the leader in data security, defense and recovery.
• Generate and maintain performance-based campaigns for Sales and Partners
• Manage a regional Marketing team to ensure they implement and deliver world class marketing solutions, which wow our customers.
• Be an inspirational people leader, with a proven record of accomplishment in cultivating and growing teams
• Be the face of marketing for our West teams
• Maintain consistent branding and messaging for the company through all outbound communications in the region and within partners
Who You Are…
• Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, business, or related field required, MBA a plus
• Extensive knowledge in the Cyber Security, Storage or Enterprise software market, and a passion for engaging in discussion on the technologies with your audiences
• Dynamic and upbeat marketing professional who wants to be part of a high growth company
• Hands-on experience and proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), CRM (e.g., Salesforce and Outreach), and some social media marketing knowledge
• Ability to engage everyone at meetings / conferences / presentations
• Solid understanding and experience in the Americas market, understanding the nuances of each major business unit across public sector, USA, Canada
• A strong broad set of marketing skills, including primarily Field, Events, Campaign and Channel Marketing
• A demonstrable strong leader who can lead from the front, with 8+ years of experience leading large successful teams
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Ability and desire to be part of a corporate team and performing in a region
• Have close relationship with cross-functional leaders
• Ability to travel

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:
$165,500 - $287,500
