I gave interview in Google three weeks back. Got a response from the recruiter today - She is still waiting on one of the interviewers to send me their feedback and she will call me after getting the feedback. I don't understand whether it is good sign or bad.. Any one had similar experience..? If yes then what was the outcome?
It means that the feedback is inconclusive at this point. If the feedback had been overwhelmingly negative, you would have gotten a rejection. If that last interviewer marks you as Hire or Strong Hire, you will likely get an offer.
Well dont they need the last interviewers feedback to go to HC anyway? I assumed it was just the recruiter giving a friendly update.
It’s nothing about you, it’s your interviewer got something more urgent. And btw why would the interviewer send you their feedback?
Serious question: how do interviewers even submit feedback more than a week later? Anything past two days is borderline not remembering enough details to be worth a HC reading beyond your rating.
Interviewed in hardware or software ??
4 weeks after interview and we are still waiting for one interviewer response. I was told he was put on a "special project" so was busy. I would estimate that with all the notes they take during the interview that there is only about 15 minutes left of work to do. Surprising that time could not be found over those 4 weeks. Is that acceptable at Google?
Update : no news from the recruiter, no interview outcome after 6 weeks of interview.. NOT FAIR @GOOGLE.
That means you are into consideration
So they don’t want the interview you gave them and are sending it back? When you gave it, did they take it?
I am crying with laughter! :D Indian English strikes again.
