My boss found out I’m Jewish 😱 what do I do.
What team did you work at Google vs facebook?
HR/PR 😂
Top minds
TC, YOE, Org?
what do you love there?
How many hours have you worked in the last 30 days
Rip your notifications. What is your WLB? Did you choose that WLB or is FB forcing it?
My wlb is fine, it's pretty chill
What’s been your biggest challenge there and how did you overcome it?
Hey there, If possible, can you let me know how data analyst role is in general at FB and the work life balance compared to SWE role. Also,do you know how is the people analytics/people data solutions team by any chance. Thanks
Figure it out yourself
Great AMA response haha
Do you think people are more aggressive/not-passive aggressive than at Google?
Googlers are more passive aggressive. FB ppl are too, but managers are pretty straight up here. Feedback here is straight and to the point, no bs sandwich bs
Is PIP a real thing? Do you see your teammates being let go every 6 months or 1 year? No matter what, X% employees are forced out of Facebook?
I know 2 ppl who were on PIP, one survived it and is doing well, the other got fired. The guy who got fired gave 0 shit about work. The competence bar isn't that high here, you really have to not give a shit about work to get PIPd, and that can happen to the best of us.
At Google I wished 10% of ppl would get let go. Eating up our team's fking headcount and adding 0 value.
