I have never in my life done any LC. Sure, I did few geeksforgeeks back in the day (& that day was some 6 years ago btw) I changed my priorities to not chase LC & thence, big MAGAFs but rather take a breath & learn what all is there that my professional space provides. A risky jump to a startup not knowing anything at all of the tech stacks at large got me grinding. Plan was to keep on hitting the wall until the damn thing moves. Fast forward 2 years. & because of this mindset & not to mention, approximately 0 preparation, I could get in. I dint try hard. Rather, I took a breath & gave all the loops a fair chance. Sure its not G/F. It is M$ & that in itself is a brand 😎 So, all the aspirants out there, don’t get disheartened of rejections. Take a leap of faith in yourself. After-all why do we fall? To rise again 😌
That's why MSFT isn't FANG
A humble brag isn’t complete without TC. Please do the needful at your earliest.
I actually wondered if MAGAF = Make America Great As Fuck
Funny enough prior to joining Apple I never heard of leetcode. I feel that LC makes people self-conscious about their coding abilities.
Same, got in without grinding LC and leaving soon for next job (also without LC). I hope this LC fad goes away because everyone knows tech recruiting is broken. Google used to ask puzzles and brain teasers and they stopped it, maybe they'll eventually find data for LC != real dev skills and change again. And everyone copies Google blindly, as if everyone's got their scale/resources/needs.
M$? Are you from the 90s?
I do LC because it is the only challanging thing for my brain, my work daily activities are boring. So in other words, even if LC allows me to get the best job possible, I would still keep doing LC because it makes me fee like I'm playing a video game, and I'm just addicted.
What is LC? Something that dillusional millennials pleasure themselves to these days?
