Currently SDE at Amazon in Europe for more than a year.
I’ve been applying to many positions but never got even a single call, and it is really frustrating not to be able to even screw it by myself.
I am wondering how hard it is to move to US from Europe and I’m not sure if experience (2.5 YOE) or the CV are the actual problem.
I’ve won different hackathons, including second position on one organized by Microsoft, is that even meaningful?
Any thoughts on this? I would also consider moving to Canada, would that be easier?

Google up "Express Entry Visa Canada"
What do you think between Canada and Israel (regardless visa) Compensation is similar AFAIK and startup ecosystem in Israel is bigger which seems interesting to me
I’ve always had a low success rate when applying to positions
