Maybe inevitable but the more you can delay getting it, the more you can build up tolerance via vaccinations to decrease the likelihood of significant long-term effects (which often occur even if the initial infection is mild).

Basically, spend as much time as you can training before you hop into the ring.

Combine the above with the likelihood that a coronavirus will evolve over time to cause less serious disease to the host, and there are _a lot_ of reasons to stick it out for a longer period of time.

Not to mention the common sense measures like masking and increased hygiene have resulted in the lowest transmission of other pathogens like influenza in years…

    • Your body will handle it better 6 months after the third booster than it would 6 months after the second booster. The more familiar your immune system is with any virus, the better it will likely handle it. It’s the same reason the Spanish flu was so deadly, influenza was a new virus. Over time people caught it once, then might have caught a variant, then maybe the same one again. Each time your body gets better at fighting it and not overreacting.

I think you are missing the point. your body will do better with booster than without it but booster is not going to get you to go over the initial 95 percent avoid hospital metric, it's just trying to get you back up there.

No, this is true everywhere. Just like the fact that if you breathe without any protection more of your breath particles go around. More of that means more infected people.

there is a difference between reducing particles and reducing enough to make a difference. especially when breath will only take the least path of resistance aka the big fat gaps especially on surgical mask. there is a reason you have to cherry pick to find a place which showed a difference, you can do same to show the opposite
