Hi there - I’ve been interviewing with Fisher Investments for about a month now for a few of their opens. I had my final round with them on Friday, however, prior to the interview, they sent over a Background Check to complete via Sterling. For those who have been through the process with Fisher, is this common before you potentially receive an offer? I’ve worked in HR prior and I haven’t seen any cases where a BC is administered during the final round. Any insight would be appreciated.
I have been working here for 3 years and they did it back then.
Are you saying right before the final round? Or at the very last stage?
Prior to the last interview
The only highly compensated employees are in sales. That alone is an alarm. They promote from within and you have to be a full kool aid drinker to get promoted. They also lie about performance metrics to give more resources and opportunities to the people who they want to advance. They preach meritocracy, but it’s entirely political.

Really? Because I had the link sent along with my interview confirmation. If you remember correctly, was it via Sterling?
