House offer accepted but a cell phone tower nearby
I made offer on an house after a quick showing. Which got accepted. I waived all contingencies except for house inspection. (Thanks heaven for that)
Yesterday after house inspection I realized we have a cell phone tower quite near to the house. I feel stupid for not seeing that before.
I can still back out within two days. Asked my agent, he said tower is not a big deal but still says we can back out if we want.
Asking blind peeps what should we do? We got this house after so many failed attempts. How dangerous is living close to cellphone tower?
Another option is to rent out the apartment and we keep living in our rented place.
Final Edit
We backed out and got the earnest money back. The seller agent pretty much told us the seller is suffering from multiple sclerosis since 3 years that sealed it for us. I can't risk my pregnant wife health with this.
If you don't care about fitting in with the cool crowd the solid research on long term effects is actually not there. This is not like climate change or anti vaccines which I expected.
Edit:
I am honestly dumbfounded people think it's funny there are factual papers on this stuff
Here is one: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/241473738_The_Influence_of_Being_Physically_Near_to_a_Cell_Phone_Transmission_Mast_on_the_Incidence_of_Cancer#:~:text=A%20German%20study%20showed%20that,of%20five%20years%20%5B8%5D%20.
Edit
People thinking it's conspiracy
