Waymo cool down period

I had give. Waymo interview about 4 month back and harshly failed.

The recruiter said 10 months after to apply for any roles.

The roles right now are very good and n
Top of my list. I studied hard with 300LC in cpp and projects. I have even have the ms degree for the job.

I want to apply now again but 10 months seem very far, and it's even possible that they might not recruit at that time.

Should I ask the talent/recruiter heard for lowering the cool down period?

Are there any strategies?

Haha.. no ... like in your day to day job... I was in similar situations but the company was Amazon. I failed the interview which I did in April, but interviewed again with the same recruiter in the last week of August. I told about the project i worked in the 3 months and the new acquired experience.
      It worked for me.

Reach out to the recruiter with you saying you had a bad day, and explaining how your work experience is closely related to the role. It has worked for me with amazon

Not an HR but probably no, especially the role you want to apply now is very similar to the role you interviewed and were rejected for. You are more than welcome to ask the recruiter but my guess is a no (especially when we are trying to push towards a more fair recruiting process).
