I’m looking for help in trying to transition from a 20+ year background in print and web design to UX. Any help on where to start would be awesome. I’ve found tons of stuff on YouTube and other places but I just don’t know what or where is the best place to start. design #ui/ux

I'd recommend spending a bulk of your energy on building an undeniably strong portfolio. That's the first and most important thing most HMs will be judging you on.
The tough thing for you will be leveling. You have 20+ years professional experience, but you will probably need to prepare for a significant title (and potentially salary) cut since you're transitioning to a different field, and in most HM's eyes, starting from scratch in terms of experience.
Expect to take a big hit in seniority and then, based on transferrable skills, a rapid level progression over the next 5 years.
