125K Direct vs 155K on contract
Wondering if I should go with contract first and make the money then get converted in . They are giving me the flexibility not sure what to do . I have other offers but this job seems fun compared to the others. Lead Full Stack Engineer @ NOV 125K seems low to me . YOE: 7 Location: Houston, Texas Both are base .

If you don’t need a visa go perm. $125k is OK because benefits add 15% to your pay bringing you to around $155k
Never ever think about contracting. Please
Why? I have done it before, just curious.
Curious also why you think he should never do it. I’ve contracted before and the pay was great, only downside was the lack of benefits
