I absolutely cannot get even a phone screen with MS. I've got on sites coming up with FB and Amazon. Daily I get hit up by recruiters from other companies. But I cannot get a Microsoft recruiter to give me the time of day. Also multiple rejects from cold applying for jobs on their website. Anyone at MS have insight as to what they're looking for? I've got so much experience with C# and MS SQL Server, I'd love to stay in that ecosystem (even if it costs me TC) but I can't even get a shot. What's weird is you'd think other companies would shy away from me because so few outside of MS use C#, but they don't seem to be bothered by it. I don't have big tech experience, could that be the problem?
Attend ms hiring event, ez offer
Remember that MSFT makes its tools easy to use. So having experience in them doesn’t generate respect, even in MSFT
I saw wondering how long it'd take before the proverbial "C# programming isn't real development because you have a nice IDE" comment came up. But I'm pretty sure before they got to MS, very few of their devs were exclusively hacking Go in Notepad. ;)
Recruiting is a black hole at msft. Getting a referral is the quickest way.
Same thing happened with me in 2017 I at least applied for 15 different positions, and got no call in return. I recently got compensated $2000 as it was their fault. You can sue them if jd matches your profile and you have applied for enough positions.

How did you get 2k because they wouldn’t interview you? Like you sued, or some class action lawsuit?
Getting interview is all about luck.
Big tech usually dnt see tech stack you have worked on before You can ask for employee referral
